Effects that distort the appearance of the nose with negative effects such as accident, impact, trauma, which occur from birth or which affect the nose afterwards; Nasoplasty is the name given to capturing the aesthetic appearance by correcting it with surgical nose aesthetics called Rhinoplasty or temporary nasal fillings. Rhinoplasty can be done to eliminate respiratory tract problems, or it can be preferred to achieve a better aesthetic appearance of the person. Nasal tissues and nasal structures can be corrected with aesthetic and surgical intervention.
Problems such as curvature of the nose, drooping of the nose tip can be permanently improved with aesthetic operations, or they can be brought to an aesthetic appearance with more temporary – more cost-effective filling interventions. Problems such as the tip of the nose being wider than normal dimensions, the tip of the nose being more pointed and prominent, the tip of the nose being low or up, the nostrils not being symmetrical, the nasal tip that seems to be congested are examples of the working fields of rhinoplasty.
Rhinoplasty surgery can be performed in two ways as open and closed technique. In the closed technique, all incisions are made inside the nose. In the open technique, the tip of the nose is opened with a 3-4 mm incision at the tip of the nose. The biggest disadvantage of the open technique is that it leaves scars under the nose. After a well-done surgery, it becomes almost obscure. The technique to be used for the surgery is evaluated and selected according to the patient’s condition.
